The LOLER regulations 1998 require:
All lifting accessories to be inspected every 6 months - These are "under hook" accessories such as slings, shackles, chain slings etc.
All equipment carrying persons must be inspected every 6 months - This includes height safety systems and safety harnesses etc.
All other lifting equipment every 12 mon
The LOLER regulations 1998 require:
All lifting accessories to be inspected every 6 months - These are "under hook" accessories such as slings, shackles, chain slings etc.
All equipment carrying persons must be inspected every 6 months - This includes height safety systems and safety harnesses etc.
All other lifting equipment every 12 months - This includes overhead cranes, Jibs, chain hoists etc.
PTS Lifting are fully qualified and insured to carry out LOLER inspections to Cranes, Hoists, and associated lifting equipment to ensure that you are meeting the required industry standards.
The PUWER regulations 1998 require: That all work equipment is in a safe and suitably well maintained condition. Under section 5 (maintenance) & section 6 (inspection) PTS Lifting can carry out servicing and repair work to cranes, hoists and lifting equipment to ensure that you are meeting these requirements and keeping your employees safe.
PTS are fully qualified to carry out load testing and certification on a wide range of equipment.
